Ohio County, WV - We Love Head Start. This week we are celebrating the opening of a new classroom, North Park 2. Miss Erin & the students take a quick break from large motor movement to get a picture together.

In the gross motor room, students do every day physical activities like walking, running, throwing, lifting, and kicking to improve body awareness, strength, and balance. Did you know these movements improve concentration, memory, executive functioning, classroom participation ,& brain development in preschoolers? When they are moving, they are learning.
